"Oxide Riot" placed 2nd in the Scottish Nature Photography Awards Natural Abstract category and is only sold as a limited edition print (no more that 50 will be created on gallery quality paper and digitally signed by the artist). These are printed on a 310gsm matt Hahnemuehle heavy weight paper, in A4, A3 or A2 options  - each with a small border to allow ease of matting and framing by the buyer.
 
This splash of dramatic yellow is the product of leached oxides, possibly lead, on the walls of Ballachulish Slate Quarry - a favourite location of mine. I love the contrasts of this location, with colours popping  throughout the seasons against the neutral slate greys of the walls, and with nature gradually reclaining a man made space.
